Learn about native bees that you may have in your garden, about the habitat requirements for honey bees and native bees, how they are alike and how they are different, how to design a garden to attract bees, and the best plants for an extended season.

Presenter Master Gardener Cindy Burgdorf: Cindy has been gardening for over 60 years (she started with cherry tomatoes in her grandmother's garden). On her 1-1/2 acre property, she has vegetable gardens, gardens devoted to bees and butterflies, three bee hives, six chickens and six compost bins. Her backyard is a certified Wild Life Habitat and a certified Butterfly Garden. Cindy has been a Master Gardener since 2008 and attained "Gold Badge" status in 2016.
