Description: Succulents come in all shapes, colors and sizes, adding beauty to a garden or an indoor space. And these plants are perfect for our summer-dry climate as they require little water. In this class you will learn:

  • About the characteristics and types of succulents
  • How to grow and care for the plants
  • How to propagate succulent

Presenter Master Gardener Delle Maxwell: A Master Gardener since 2014, Delle has a personal interest in drought-tolerant plants—especially California natives, cacti, and succulents. Additionally, Delle is a long-time volunteer at the San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum, where she propagates plants in the nursery. She also serves as Chair on the Board of Trustees for the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society.
